Vanson Room Divider
This gem of a mid-century design is still as stylish and practical today as it was back in the 1950s. Made by Vanson it offers a desk, a set of draws, three glass fronted cabinets, a drinks cabinet and multiple surfaces. The slim black metal legs support everything from top to bottom and look super cool running up the sides and through the middle. The desk has a pull down surface with a green leather insert and a letter holder which slides left to right. The pull down drinks cabinet, which still has it's key, has a white formica surface and a set back shelf. Two of the glass cabinets are designed with a glass shelf which can be positioned at 3 different heights. All of them have sliding glass doors with cut out handles. The three draws have gorgeous brass handles and the metal legs are topped with a brass disc. A detail we love at MoseyHome, along with the hood at the top and the pattern that the overlapping glass doors make when the cabinets are closed. It does have signs of vintage use such as small pieces of missing veneer on the bottom edge of the pull down desk , and it is missing the lock for the desk (can be replaced). None of this detracts from this masterful mid-century piece which would look equally amazing against a wall or dividing a room. It can be taken apart for easy transportation, but it can be transported as is too (if you don't fancy putting it back together).
