Sofa by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen
A rare matching set of two high back armchairs and a two seater sofa by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen for Magnus Olesen. Designed and made in the 1970s these pieces are a cool reflection of Scandinavian modern C20th design. They have amazing bent plywood backs, curved armrests and a wool fabric. The look of the profile is fantastic. The wood is a light colour and the fabric a grass green colour. The set does need some TLC. The wood could do with a few layers of oil. The fabric has some fading and marks so could do with a good clean. The filling seems to be in good condition, with good integrity. You could consider reupholstering. They could be made into a stunning collectable pieces.
