Richard Hornby for Heals Coffee Table
This is a classic 1960s coffee table designed by Richard Hornby and sold through Heals in the 1960s. The bevelled edges, scalloped ends and slim legs give it a subtle, sophisticated look. The shelf underneath stylishly mirrors the shape above, and the dark rich Afromosia wood has gained a lovely colour over time. It has been re polished and shows only a few traces of use in the form of light surface dents. They can only been seen if the light hits the table in a certain way and there are no chips or marks to the wood colour. It is a piece that has really stood the test of time.
