Quirky Bent Plywood Chair
We love this quirky little chair. We think it might have been intended for a church because it has a book holder on the back but it does have Patent Pending stamped on the bottom so perhaps this is a kind of prototype. The design is brilliant, the bent plywood seat and back are padded with vinyl, which is in excellent condition, and the legs are made to inter lock with other chairs to sit side by side. This means the top of the legs have cut outs and are placed in a different position from the one on the opposite side of the seat. It really has the modernist and industrial style going for it and would make a very cool occasional chair. It is a solid piece with a few signs of wear and some chips on the wood. We don't mind and hope you won't!
