SUMMER SALE Maurice Burke for Arkana, Round, Tulip Dining Table, 1960s
An absolute c20th classic by the designer Maurice Burke. A round white melamine top on a beautifully shaped cast aluminium pedestal leg. Arkana was a British furniture manufacturer that produced some very modernist / furturistic pieces. This table is now timeless in style and would look good in any interior setting. It can also go with any style of dinning chair. It seats up to 6. It does show general signs of age with marks to the aluminium, some slight patching on the top and surface cracks on the edges. Many of these tables have worn similarly, and if you are able to live with this, it is a solid, stable, iconic piece with many more years in it. The top can be unscrewed from the base for easier transportation.
