Pieff Chrome and Smoked Glass Shelving Unit, 1970's
A super cool shelving unit, part of the Lisse range designed by Tim Bates for Pieff in the 1970’s. It is an understated design that stylishly combines the smoked glass and chrome using square shaped shelf holders that wrap around the uprights. The bottom shelf looks great low to the floor and the arched tops give it an extra cool edge. This unit does have one shelf with a scratch and a small chip on the edge and another with a chip on the corner. We have highlighted the scratch so it looks more visible than normal, depending on how the light hits it. It can be polished out or just have the shelf above eye line and it can’t be seen. The corner chip is covered by the shelf holder. Otherwise it shows wear expected with it’s age. The shelves are adjustable, the feet are adjustable too. It still has the Pieff label.
