Art Deco, 1920's Occasional Table
This beautiful side table is a classic Art Deco shape with it's octagonal top and scalloped pedestal leg. The walnut finish has been lightly restored to enhance the rich warm glossy colour and the decorative grain which has been used symmetrically to create a butterfly pattern. It has been handmade and still has a label underneath giving a date of 1923. Although restored it still retains some patina and signs of age if closely examined. This adds to it's character and authenticity. If you like a touch of understated vintage glamour this is a perfect piece.
